Dear Howes,
I bought a Dawes Galaxy from you over 20 years ago and had a few problems with breaking spokes in the back wheel but you gave me a new ”hand-built” wheel for free as a replacement. Anyway, I am now in Australia and I still commute to work on the same Dawes Galaxy and the ”new” wheel has never broken a spoke and it is still a great bike. I replaced the handlebars and also the power train a few times but it is still a great bike.
Thanks for looking after me so well so long ago.
